Energy Savings Assistance Program
BVES is committed to helping its customers manage their energy use and save money. The Energy Savings Assistance Program (ESA), offered to income-qualified customers, provides energy-saving improvements at no charge. To be eligible for ESA, customers must be full-time residents and participate in one of these programs:
Medi-Cal/Medicaid
CalFresh/SNAP
WIC
Medi-Cal for Families
LIHEAP
Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
National School Lunch Program
Head Start Income Eligible (Tribal Only)
Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance
TANF/Tribal TAFT
OR total household income must meet the income guidelines listed below:

Energy Efficient Refrigerator (mfr. year 1998 or before)
LED Lighting
Low Flow Showerheads
Faucet Aerators
Insulation
Weather Stripping
Caulking
Please note – some improvements are available only to customers using electric space and/or electric water heating.
